T R E A T M E N T S
The world’s first picosecond technology for skin revitalization.
The first and leading choice for comfortable and convenient tattoo removal and skin revitalization treatment for wrinkles, acne scars, and pigments like freckles, sunspots, and discoloration.
As a pioneer in providing anti-aging services in the Greater Vancouver area, the PiscoSure® Laser treatment is only operated by licensed Cynosure physicians here at RAAC.
Following up with RAAC’s post-care treatment is highly recommended after laser and radio-frequency treatments to immediately calm the skin and reduce the risk of postinflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Reduce or remove:
- Acne marks & scars
- Wrinkles & lines
– Brighter skin tone
– Minimize pores
– Good at treating different skin conditions
How it works
PicoSure’s PressureWave™ technology uses a unique wavelength of light (755nm) and a specialized lens (Cynosure Focus Lens) to convert laser energy into gentle pressure.
This pressure squeezes cells, activating the natural cell signaling processes that create new collagen and elastin without burning or damaging the skin.
Procedure time varies among the size of the treatment areas.
10 minutes is common for average-sized tattoo and skin revitalization treatments
The result of tattoo removal and acne scar is permanent. Skin revitalization treatment results are long-lasting, but some pigment conditions can be recurrent.
In fact, getting PicoSure® Laser treatment every six months can help prevent the accumulation of pigment and can also slow the appearance of wrinkles.
For tattoo removal, the size, location, and density of ink all play important roles in how quickly clearance can be achieved. 4-10 treatments are common for modern tattoos.
The number of treatments for skin revitalization is largely dependent on the clinical condition being addressed but 2-5 treatments are common.
PicoSure® is designed with safety in mind and incidents of scarring are very rare. Tattoo removal treatments require more energy than skin revitalization. In certain cases, patients may experience temporary hypopigmentation (a lightening in skin color of the treated area). Usually normal skin will be restored once healing is complete.
