Treatment details
During your Testosterone Replacement treatment consultation, the Doctor will review the results of your blood test with you. He will discuss the treatment and address any questions you may have. If you are a candidate for pellet therapy, Doctor will make a tiny incision near your hip and insert between 2-10 small pellets, each the size of a grain of rice, under your skin using an instrument called a trocar. The pellets will slowly release Bio-Identical Testosterone over the course of about 3 to 4 months.
If you opt for intramuscular injections, the Doctor will administer the testosterone treatment directly into the gluteal muscle. You will need to receive the injection every 10-14 days.
Pellet Therapy
Our health care team utilizes pellet therapy, guaranteeing a consistent physiological release without the roller coaster effects of many of the traditional methods. Depending on your eligibility and needs, the doctor will insert small pellets the size of a grain of rice in the hip area (usually 2-10 for men). These customized pellets contain testosterone for men with the occasional estrogen blocker.
Intramuscular (IM) Injections
IM injections offer a variety of advantages. They are safer than topical therapies because they minimize the risk of unintentionally transferring testosterone to others. IM injections last for two weeks, so there’s no need for constant application, as with creams. Injections flow directly into the bloodstream, so they are an efficient means of hormone delivery.
