Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)
What is TRT?
As a man, your masculinity lies in your virility. As you age, your strength, energy, libido and mental clarity may begin to decline, making you feel like a fraction of who you once were. Testosterone is the key male sex hormone that is responsible for keeping you young and vibrant. When you experience a decline in testosterone, you may experience a loss of who you uesed to be. Gone are the days you feel like a shell of yourself. It’s time to turn back the hands of time and reclaim the vibrancy of your youth.
Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) is a regimen of specialized medications that increases hormone levels in the body.
There are a plethora of benefits you can realize with Testosterone Replacement Therapy. Many patients who undergo TRT report feeling like a different person compared to how they felt when they initially sought treatment.
- More Energy
- Increased Libido
- Enhanced Muscle Mass
- Better Mood
- Leaner Body
- Mental Clarity
Those looking to undergo TRT are men who have noticed a decline in the way they feel about their manhood. They may experience low sex drive, decreased stamina, significant weight gain or loss of muscle mass.
They have decreased testosterone production, as determined by appropriate medical testing.

Real Patients, Real Results
How it works
The MMC Group adopts the concept of Precision Medicine through tailored and strategized treatment plans for each client. We use plant-based Bio-Identical hormones to ensure the best patient outcomes. We lead with advanced and unique Pellet therapy techniques, precisely targeting your hormone type and needs to help you achieve hormone balance and improve your quality of life. Our team of experts will actively follow up on each client’s treatment process, ensuring safe, effective and comfortable treatment experience.
During your Testosterone Replacement treatment consultation, the Doctor will review the results of your blood test with you. He will discuss the treatment and address any questions you may have. If you are a candidate for pellet therapy, Doctor will make a tiny incision near your hip and insert between 2-10 small pellets, each the size of a grain of rice, under your skin using an instrument called a trocar. The pellets will slowly release Bio-Identical Testosterone over the course of about 3 to 4 months.
If you opt for intramuscular injections, the Doctor will administer the testosterone treatment directly into the gluteal muscle. You will need to receive the injection every 10-14 days.
Our health care team utilizes pellet therapy, guaranteeing a consistent physiological release without the roller coaster effects of many of the traditional methods. Depending on your eligibility and needs, the doctor will insert small pellets the size of a grain of rice in the hip area (usually 2-10 for men). These customized pellets contain testosterone for men with the occasional estrogen blocker.
Intramuscular (IM) Injections
IM injections offer a variety of advantages. They are safer than topical therapies because they minimize the risk of unintentionally transferring testosterone to others. IM injections last for two weeks, so there’s no need for constant application, as with creams. Injections flow directly into the bloodstream, so they are an efficient means of hormone delivery. You will start noticing the benefits of your therapy within 24 to 48 hours of administration.
The MMC health care team will help you find the right solution to your hormone replacement needs. Prices vary depending on the extent of treatment you may require. Please do not hesitate to ask one of your MMC representatives for help along the way.
This TRT process does not end with the insertion of your pellets and injection. In fact, our MMC health care team’s dedication to monitoring and attention to detail only intensifies. You will be in constant communication with the doctor and our professional staff. They will invite you to report on how you feel as the hormone therapy takes effect in your system.
The MMC health care team will routinely check your blood in the 3-4 months following your initial TRT session. If necessary, your treatment provider will fine tune your hormone plan to deliver the optimal results you deserve.

Because Testosterone Replacement Therapy is tailored to the individual, effects will vary between patients. During your consultation, your doctor will inform you of the risks and benefits of Testosterone Replacement Therapy based on your unique presentation of symptoms, body chemistry, and medical history.
Each patient is an individual with a unique experience. The dose of the testosterone you will be prescribed will be determined by a number of factors. In order to determine the therapeutically effective dose for you and your needs, your doctor will inquire about your symptoms and health history and draw blood to determine your candidacy for Testosterone Replacement Therapy. He will insert several pellets, each the size of a grain of rice, just under the skin near your hip or administer intramuscular injections into the gluteal muscle. From there, you will return to the clinic for routine follow-up visits. Your doctor will make any necessary adjustments based on your reports and additional testing. So, your exact dosage will be determined only after a consultation with the doctor and it will be adjusted, as needed.
You will have routine follow up appointments with The MMC health care team to monitor your progress and testosterone levels. Your treatment plan will be adjusted, as needed, when you come in for your next appointment for pellet therapy or testosterone injection.
